What We’re Working On
- Land Use Plan that formalizes long-term community goals into governing policies that guide future land use, including the location, type, and intensity of development and the types of structures permitted within the jurisdiction.
- The Land Use Plan may serve as a guiding framework for the development or update of local codes, zoning ordinances, or equivalent enforcement mechanisms.
- Integration of relevant components of any applicable County Hazard Mitigation Plan
- Identification of local hazard risks
- An explanation of how the Land Use Plan mitigates identified hazard risks
- Optional supporting studies, such as environmental, economic, housing, or infrastructure analyses
