Hampsten Consulting, Inc. - Provides grant management, hazard mitigation, and project management activities for communities and organizations involved in disaster recovery and hazard mitigation. Also, provides project oversight for organizations in various industries and government sectors.
What We’re Working On
- Land Use Plan that formalizes long-term community goals into governing policies that guide future land use, including the location, type, and intensity of development and the types of structures permitted within the jurisdiction.
- The Land Use Plan may serve as a guiding framework for the development or update of local codes, zoning ordinances, or equivalent enforcement mechanisms.
- Integration of relevant components of any applicable County Hazard Mitigation Plan
- Identification of local hazard risks
- An explanation of how the Land Use Plan mitigates identified hazard risks
- Optional supporting studies, such as environmental, economic, housing, or infrastructure analyses
