The preliminary draft documents below will be released as they become ready for City review. Please review each section carefully and provide any comments, revisions, or recommendations to help guide final development and ensure alignment with the City of Brazoria’s vision and priorities.

Outlines the purpose and structure of the plan, providing a background and description of the city.

Describes the city's setting and identifies local hazard risks, aligning with the Hazard Mitigation plan.

Includes current estimates and distributions of the population, projections for the next 20 years, and analyses of income, education, and employment trends.

Analyzes the existing housing stock, including the number of total units, single-family homes, multi-family homes, and vacancy rates.

Analyzes existing land use covering every parcel within the city's jurisdiction. It discusses growth constraints, smart growth planning principles, and future land use and thoroughfare plans for the next 20 years.

Evaluates the current street system, pedestrian conditions, and transportation infrastructure, including airports, transit, and railroads.

Provides an overview of public facilities such as parks, trails, recreation systems, schools, libraries, health care facilities, and other public amenities.
