Preliminary Draft Final Review – Resilient Communities Program (RCP) Comprehensive Plan

The Preliminary Draft Final Version of Wimberley’s Resilient Communities Program (RCP) Comprehensive Plan is now available for review. This draft brings together all major chapters, maps, base studies, and strategic recommendations that will guide Wimberley’s future growth, resilience, and environmental stewardship.

At this stage, the City is gathering final input before preparing the fully consolidated Final Draft. As part of this process:

  • Feedback from the One Water Special Study review will be incorporated into all relevant sections of the plan, including land use, infrastructure, environmental protection, and resilience strategies.
  • Comments from the Planning & Zoning Commission’s review will also be integrated to ensure the plan aligns with local development policies, zoning considerations, and the community’s long-term vision.

Your review helps ensure this comprehensive plan reflects Wimberley’s priorities, values, and unique sense of place. Thank you for contributing to the final refinement of this important guiding document. Click on the panel to review each segment of the plan draft.
